Came here a few times, the very first time being with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. A couple other times were date nights. Only small problem I personally had was that the environment was a bit dark, but it wasn't extremely bothersome. Servers were very kind to us! Service is always very consistent. My boyfriend and I went tonight and we agreed that this place never disappoints no matter how many times we go. Prices are very reasonable for their very generous portions, we always had leftovers to take home. After they take our order, time would pass and they'll come by our table to update us that our food is almost ready. They didn't have to do that (since we understand food takes time) but we're also very appreciative that they do that to show they didn't forget us. Food is always amazing, and we will definitely be coming back soon!
Great food! We had their specialty pizza and salads. Perfect flavor balance. Ingredients on the pizza were the perfect amount and fresh! The restaurant is cozy, clean and plays good music. The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant. Price was reasonable as well.
A friend recommended this place as having pretty tasty pizza. We are pizza picky. We started with a dinner salad which was fresh crisp and also tasty. Our waitress, Khrista, was on it with the drinks, getting our order in a timely fashion. We were hungry. She was very nice and suggested the perfect pizza for us. The veggies on the pizza were perfectly cooked. Plenty of cheese and meat. Piping hot! The crust was was flavorful, not soggy. Clean and comfortable.
Great food for great prices. Portion sizes are more than enough. And the taste is very authentic easy pick up.
Excellent service, the food was amazing. The two young servers in the front Noah and Elmer were extremely helpful with my daughter's baby shower catering order, 10/10 service would definitely come again for future catering.
Great selection of Italian specialties, and all very reasonably priced. Fantastic pastas & almost any pizza you can think of. Nice wine list that really works well with the food. Food came out quickly, and our server (Anthony) was very attentive and nice. Clean and comfortable seating - everything looks brand new. Great place for a date, a group dinner, & definitely kid friendly.
We came on a Tuesday evening and instantly got seated. We got the lasagna, chicken parm and my mom got some spaghetti plate. Pros - it's one of the best lasagnas I've had in a restaurant. My wife and mom both liked their plates too. Not much to say. - complimentary bread (not bad) - friendly staff -Nice clean restaurant -generous portion sizes Cons - none Overall 8/10
Avolio's Italian restaurant has been serving Covina some bomb Italian food for the last 40 years They specialize in hearty pizzas and lasagnas, creamy pastas, and all things cheese The Avolio's Special pizza is freshly made and is STUFFED with all their toppings The calzone is HUGE!! I've never had a calzone the size of a plate with cheese just oozing out The Tutto Mare seafood pasta was amazing. The balance of the creamy pasta with shrimp, salmon, scallops, and mussels was perfect Simply put, everything was delicious Definitely check them out when you're in the area!!
